Please let me stress several import things to the visitors when they come to the market:
*Please be discreet.
*Please be respectful.
*Please don't bring children to the market.
You should be aware that unfortunately you are "unwelcomed guests." And the more visitors we have in the market, the more visitors with bad manners we encountour. Then what will happen? We all, even tourists who maintain discreet and respectful attitudes will be kicked out from the market completely. The inner market restaurants are originally targeted to professional buyers who come to the middlemen's shops or workers who work there. Because there are so many tourists flocking to there, the orginal customers cannot enter. They complain, of course and some restaurants in the inner market post a sigh "No foreigners", which is very sad.
Please don't touch the merchandise without permission. I see some tourist who touch the merchandises whey they take pictures. Please don't. The merchandises are equivalent to the life of the workers, they are extremely proud of the merchandises they trade. Please don't think light of it. Please don't make a camera flash, it is disturbing the auctions, if you don't know how to inactivate the flash function, read the manual. If you don't want to read it, don't use your camera! Please don't stand in the way of transportation. Freshness is everything for seafood, they are in extremely hurry. You are in the way! Please don't bring children to the market. It is an extremely busy market with electric carts and we have one accident per day. It is extremely dangerous and their crying interferes with the business. The market is not a Disneyland for family groups. Please maintain serious attitudes.
I am a local who loves the market tradition and people who work there. Please understand. The market and visitors must co-exist. And for us to co-exist all of us should maintain proper attitudes, thanks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
